How to Create a cloth cape for a superhero in 3ds Max

Jun 14, 2010 02:26 PM

In this Autodesk 3ds Max video tutorial, you'll learn about a cool plugin that can create cloth-like animations. 3ds Max does have a built-in cloth simulation, but it's rather complicated to work with. The alternative to using the built-in feature is using the plug-in SimCloth 3, a free modifier. It works very easily and creates a smooth flowing cloth effect. But this cloth-like effect could be applied to anything 3D simulation similar to it, creating a wind modifier to blow the cloth.

The next big software update for iPhone is coming sometime in April and will include a Food section in Apple News+, an easy-to-miss new Ambient Music app, Priority Notifications thanks to Apple Intelligence, and updates to apps like Mail, Photos, Podcasts, and Safari. See what else is coming to your iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update.
